If they would have told me that I had to apply for financing before I could even have a test ride, I would refuse and walk out if it came down to it. I don't give anyone my finacial information until I'm ready to make the purchase. That is a bunch of BS that so many motorcycle dealers won't let you ride a new bike. The Harley dealer where I live practically begs people to test ride their bikes. They have demo rides every Saturday where you can come in and ride any of a variety of bikes and all you have to do is sign the insurance waiver. Of course, with their prices, maybe the Harley dealers have to do that to compete.
